Quantum Advantage: A Single Qubit's Experimental Edge in Classical Data Storage.

We implement an experiment on a photonic quantum processor establishing efficacy of the elementary quantum system in classical information storage. The advantage is established by considering a class of simple bipartite games played with the communication resource qubit and classical bit (c bit), respectively. Optimization of chemical reactions requires a thorough analysis of reaction products and intermediates over a given time course. Chemical reactions are often analyzed by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS), but generating LC-MS samples and data analysis is time-consuming and produces a significant amount of waste. We sought to remove the sample preparation and data analysis steps by implementing an iChemExplorer/Agilent LC-MS instrument as our reactor and analysis tool, coupled with an automated report generator of reaction progress over time.

The Prognostic Role of Fibulin-2 and Ki-67 Index in Patients with Meningioma: A Study among Minangkabau Ethnicity.

Objective: To analyze the association between fibulin-2 and Ki-67 index with histopathological grade and other clinicopathological factors in patients with meningioma among the Minangkabau ethnic group.

Methods: This cross-sectional observational study uses 50 specimens comprising 25 low-risk meningioma cases and 25 high-risk meningioma cases obtained at three anatomical pathology laboratories in Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia, between 2019 and 2022. All samples were stained using an immunohistochemistry procedure with Ki-67 and fibulin-2.

The healthy intestinal microbiota of shrimp can be used as an indicator sustainable shrimp production. In this study, the integrated of metagenomic and screening probiotic approach from healthy Litopenaeus vannamei intestines in differing stages was studied to find novel indigenous probiotics. The microbiota from intestine of naupli, post larva (PL-10), juvenile (40 days), and adult (80 days) of Pacific white shrimp were characterized using a high-quality sequence of V3-V4 of 16S rRNA gene as the hypervariable region.

Effectiveness of Life Skills Intervention on Depression, Anxiety and Stress among Children and Adolescents: A Systematic Review.

Children and adolescents are at a significantly high risk of mental health problems during their lifetime, among which are depression and anxiety, which are the most common. Life skills education is one of the intervention programmes designed to improve mental well-being and strengthen their ability to cope with the daily stresses of life. This review aimed to identify and evaluate the effect of life skills intervention on the reduction of depression, anxiety and stress among children and adolescents.

Rapid adsorptive removal of chromium from wastewater using walnut-derived biosorbents.

Contamination of water resources by industrial effluents containing heavy metal ions and management of solid waste from agricultural and food industries is a serious issue. This study presents the valorization of waste walnut shells as an effective and environment-friendly biosorbent for sequestrating Cr(VI) from aqueous media. The native walnut shell powder (NWP) was chemically modified with alkali (AWP) and citric acid (CWP) to obtain modified biosorbents with abundant availability of pores as active centers, as confirmed by BET analysis.

Principle of Information Causality Rationalizes Quantum Composition.

The present study elucidated hepatic molecular and physiological responses of giant gourami to high dietary carbohydrates. Improving knowledge, attitudes and beliefs: a cross-sectional study of postpartum depression awareness among social support networks during COVID-19 pandemic in Malaysia.

Background: Postpartum depression (PPD) is the most prevalent mental health disorder after childbirth, notably during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, PPD is known to have a long-term influence on the mother and the newborn, and the role of social support network is crucial in early illness recognition. This study aims to evaluate the social support networks' level of knowledge, attitudes and beliefs regarding PPD and examine their sociodemographic variables and exposure to the public information relating to PPD during the COVID-19 pandemic in Malaysia.

Evaluation of Teneligliptin a DPP4 Inhibitor in Terms of Efficacy and Safety with Respect to QT/QTc Prolongation in Patients with Type II Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM).

Introduction: Low risk of hypoglycemia and weight neutrality have increased the administration of dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP-4) inhibitors in patients with T2DM in clinical practice. Currently Teneligliptin is prescribed as a second or third add on to the standard treatment with other classes of oral hypoglycemic agents (OHAs) to achieve targeted glycemic control in type 2 DM patients.

Methods: An open label, interventional, single arm, 12 weeks study was conducted on160 patients with type 2 DM at MGM Medical College, Aurangabad with Teneligliptin 20 mg once a day as add on to the ongoing standard treatment with other classes of OHAs.

Figuring out the physical rationale behind natural selection of quantum theory is one of the most acclaimed quests in quantum foundational research. This pursuit has inspired several axiomatic initiatives to derive a mathematical formulation of the theory by identifying the general structure of state and effect space of individual systems as well as specifying their composition rules. This generic framework can allow several consistent composition rules for a multipartite system even when state and effect cones of individual subsystems are assumed to be quantum.

Multicopy Adaptive Local Discrimination: Strongest Possible Two-Qubit Nonlocal Bases.

Ensembles of composite quantum states can exhibit nonlocal behavior in the sense that their optimal discrimination may require global operations. Such an ensemble containing N pairwise orthogonal pure states, however, can always be perfectly distinguished under an adaptive local scheme if (N-1) copies of the state are available. In this Letter, we provide examples of orthonormal bases in two-qubit Hilbert space whose adaptive discrimination require three copies of the state.
