- Three entomopathogenic fungi (Metarhizium anisopliae, Beauveria bassiana, Clonostachys rosea) were tested for their ability to kill the Varroa destructor mite by immersing them in a spore solution and placing them on honey bee brood, resulting in significant mite mortality compared to controls.
