Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) has poor prognosis. Carboplatin (Crb) is a widely used chemotherapeutic agent, in TNBC but with serious systemic toxicity and poor tumor targeting. Bioinspired drug-loaded platelets (Plt) and Plt-coated nanocarriers evade macrophage phagocytosis by membrane proteins like CD47.

Purpose: Neutropenic fever remains a major complication in acute leukemia. Decolonization is assumed as a promising intervention for eradicating causative agents of infection.

Methods: In this randomized clinical trial, 96 patients with acute leukemia were assigned randomly to mupirocin nasal drop 2% (n = 32), chlorhexidine mouthwash 0.

Dressing wounds accelerates the re-epithelialization process and changes the inflammatory environment towards healing. In the current study, a lignocellulose sponge containing pentoxifylline (PTX)-loaded lecithin/chitosan nanoparticles (LCNs) was developed to enhance the wound healing rate. Lecithin/chitosan nanoparticles were obtained by the solvent-injection method and characterized in terms of morphology, particle size distribution, and zeta potential.

Autonomous indoor service robots are supposed to accomplish tasks, like , which involve manipulation actions. Particularly, for complex manipulation tasks which are subject to geometric constraints, spatial information and a rich semantic knowledge about objects, types, and functionality are required, together with the way in which these objects can be manipulated. In this line, this paper presents an ontological-based reasoning framework called Perception and Manipulation Knowledge (PMK) that includes: (1) the modeling of the environment in a standardized way to provide common vocabularies for information exchange in human-robot or robot-robot collaboration, (2) a sensory module to perceive the objects in the environment and assert the ontological knowledge, (3) an evaluation-based analysis of the situation of the objects in the environment, in order to enhance the planning of manipulation tasks.

Backgrounds And Aims: Type 2 diabetic mellitus (T2DM) asone of the main causes of morbidity and mortality is associated with immune system disturbances and metabolic abnormalities. In the current study we aimed to evaluate the effects of oligofructose-enriched inulin on T-cell subsets and their related cytokines, anthropometric and metabolic parameters in patients with T2DM.

Methods: Forty-six diabetic females patients were randomly allocated into intervention (n=27) and control (n=22) groups.

Background: The treatment of hematologic malignancies and immunodeficiency diseases are offered by hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) as a unique self-renewal and differentiation source which most commonly is selected by CD34 surface marker for HSC.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to develop and characterize monoclonal antibody against CD34 antigen for detection of hematopoietic stem cells.

Methods: Balb/c mice were immunized with two synthetic peptides of CD34 and Spleen cells were fused with SP2/0.
