Background: The present study aimed to investigate the psychometric properties of the Persian version of the weight-related experiential avoidance (AAQW) in overweight and obese treatment seeker in the clinical setting.

Methods: This sample consists of 220 male and female overweight or obesity treatment seeker from Overweight and obesity centers who agreed to fill out the self-reported measures.

Results: Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) supported 3-factor structures of AAQW, including (weight as a barrier to living, Food as Control, and weight-stigma).

Purpose: The protective effect of vegetables against carcinogenesis has been reported in experimental studies particularly focusing on the gut. Therefore, we conducted a hospital-based matched case-control study to explore the association between dietary consumption and risk of breast cancer among Iranian women in northwest Iran.

Methods: A validated, quantitative, food frequency questionnaire was completed in 285 women (aged 25-65 years old) newly diagnosed with histopathologically confirmed breast cancer (grade II, III or clinical stage II, III) in Tabriz, northwest Iran, and the completed questionnaires were included in an age- and regional-matched hospital based-control study.

In the recent years, temperature and pH-sensitive hydrogels were developed as suitable carriers for drug delivery. In this study, four different pH-sensitive nanohydrogels were designed for an oral insulin delivery modeling. NIPAAm-MAA-HEM copolymers were synthesized by radical chain reaction with 80:8:12 ratios respectively.
