The complexity and cost of training machine learning models have made cloud-based machine learning as a service (MLaaS) attractive for businesses and researchers. MLaaS eliminates the need for in-house expertise by providing pre-built models and infrastructure. However, it raises data privacy and model security concerns, especially in medical fields like protein fold recognition.

COVID-19 vaccines stimulate immune-inflammation response. This study aimed to investigate the types and rates of COVID-19 vaccines in patients with newly diagnosed colon cancer and compare it according to the microsatellite status.

Methods: A retrospective multi-center observational cohort study was conducted to evaluate patients with MPeM. Due to the heterogeneity of the study population, the study divided them into two main groups in terms of treatments, follow-up periods, and prognostic features.
This retrospective study evaluated 35 children (median age 5.2 years; range 0.4-18) with myelofibrosis (MF), including 33 with primary myelofibrosis and 2 with secondary myelofibrosis transplanted from matched sibling donor (MSD) (n = 17) or non-MSD (n = 18) between 2000 and 2022.

Materials And Methods: This was a prospective, observational study. Patients in whom the infectious agent was determined by laboratory examination were considered to have infectious diarrhea.
Multiple myeloma (MM) is a haematological malignancy primarily affecting the elderly, with a striking male predilection and ethnic disparities in incidence. Familial predisposition to MM has long been recognized, but the genetic underpinnings remain elusive. This study aimed to investigate germline variants in Turkish families with recurrent MM cases.

Uric acid (UA) and fibrinogen (Fib) are DAMPs released from damaged tissue during allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HCT) and GvHD. We aimed to evaluate the effects of UA and Fib levels on survival in GvHD.

Several preclinical observed that diabetes mellitus (DM) leads to profound remodeling of the hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) niche, resulting in the impaired release of HSCs. We aim to examine the effect of DM on HSC mobilization and to investigate whether there is a relationship between complications developing in the DM process and drugs used to treat DM and mobilization failure.

Preoperative ALBI grade is believed to be influenced by tumor burden. This study aimed to develop and validate the ALBI grade as a preoperative prognostic model for predicting the survival of patients with PHC.

The disease spread rapidly and was declared as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11, 2020. Only urgent surgi cal cases and oncological surgeries that cannot be postponed were performed during this pandemic process.

Microsatellite instability-high (MSI-H) CRC is a molecular subgroup and has distinct clinical and pathologic features from microsatellite stable (MSS) CRC. Studies have suggested an association between hereditary antigens in ABO blood group system and the risk of developing various cancers but the relationship between blood groups and MSI-H CRC has not been investigated.

The pandemic's control is complicated by society's unwillingness to vaccinate. The aim of this cross-sectional study was to assess patients with hematological malignancies and their attitudes regarding COVID-19 immunization and to investigate COVID-19 anxiety in this susceptible population.

Continued seroma causes increased outpatient visits, repeated aspirations, infection, delayed healing, delayed adjuvant therapy, and increased cost. Various treatments are being attempted to prevent and reduce seroma development.

Objective: We aimed to determine the factors that predict early mortality and morbidity in patients who underwent laparoscopic right hemicolectomy and their superiority over each other.
Introduction: Acute kidney injury (AKI) is an important and life-threatening complication following allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT). This is therefore an active research area with studies aiming to understand the factors that cause this complication.
Materials And Methods: We conducted a retrospective study to identify the factors that caused AKI in 100 patients who underwent allo-HSCT in the first 100 days after transplantation using logistic regression analysis.
As in other types of cancer, tumor markers are used in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) for disease follow-up, especially after surgery. There has been shown to be a significant correlation between the tumor marker levels and poor prognosis in locally or systemic advanced stage PDAC patients. However, there is no significant correlation between prognosis and marker levels in patients with early stage PDAC patients.

In this study, we compare the predictive efficacy of the Ottawa Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Risk Scale (OCRS) and the Dyspnea, Eosinopenia, Consolidation, Acidemia, and Atrial Fibrillation (DECAF) score in estimating the short-term poor outcome of patients in our ED with exacerbations of COPD.
Methods: This single-centre prospective observational study was conducted over 6 months.
Background Previous studies have shown that pelvimetry can be valuable in predicting surgical difficulties in rectal cancer operations. However, its usability in predicting circumferential resection margin (CRM) involvement remains debatable. This study investigated the factors affecting CRM status and the importance of computed tomography (CT) pelvimetry in predicting CRM involvement in laparoscopic resection of middle and lower rectal cancer.
