Background: The most aggressive form of breast cancer (BC) is Triple-Negative BC (TNBC), with the poorest prognosis, accounting for nearly 15% of all cases. Since there is no effective treatment, novel strategies, especially targeted therapies, are essential to treat TNBC. Exosomes are nano-sized microvesicles derived from cells and transport various intracellular cargoes, including microRNAs (miRNAs).

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is responsible for a significant number of cancer-related fatalities worldwide. Researchers are investigating the therapeutic potential of ferroptosis, a type of iron-dependent controlled cell death, in the context of CRC. Curcumin, a natural compound found in turmeric, exhibits anticancer properties.

An anticancer drug known as Rapamycin acts by inhibiting the mammalian target of the Rapamycin pathway. This agent has recently been investigated for its potential therapeutic benefits in sensitizing drug-resistant breast cancer (BC) treatment. The molecular mechanism underlying these effects, however, is still a mystery.

In this work, we examine the changes in demand for bike-sharing platforms with the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. Using the fixed-effects regression formulation of difference-in-differences, we evaluate how the demand for bike-sharing platforms changed after the first cases of Covid were discovered and after the first executive orders were implemented. Accounting for weather conditions, socio-economic characteristics, time trends, and fixed effects across cities, our findings indicate that there is an increase in daily bike-sharing trips by 22% on average after the first Covid-19 case diagnosis, and a decrease of 30% after the first executive order implementation in each municipality, using the data up to August 2020.

Aim: Intraoperative electron Radiotherapy, herein referred to, as IOeRT is a novel approach in breast cancer (BC) treatment. This study designed to investigate short-term molecular effects of 12Gy as Boost versus 21Gy as Radical dose of IOeRT using high throughput approaches.

Materials And Methods: Six BC patients as a pilot study were treated with IOeRT following two separate strategies, including Boost and Radical doses.

Do spikes in Twitter chatter about a firm precede unusual stock market trading activity for that firm? If so, Twitter activity may provide useful information about impending financial market activity in real-time. We study the real-time relationship between chatter on Twitter and the stock trading volume of 96 firms listed on the Nasdaq 100, during 193 days of trading in the period from May 21, 2012 to September 18, 2013. We identify observations featuring firm-specific spikes in Twitter activity, and randomly assign each observation to a ten-minute increment matching on the firm and a number of repeating time indicators.
