Malignant spiradenoma/cylindroma of the vulva is an extremely rare adnexal tumor. We report the clinicopathological features of a 58-year-old woman who presented with malignant spiradenoma/cylindroma originating in the vulva and metastasized to the inguinal lymph nodes. Surgical excision with adequate margins and lymph node dissection was performed.

Objective: To scrutinize all colonic biopsies and document the prevalence and pattern of various colonic diseases amongst the patients presenting at a tertiary care hospital of Western Saudi Arabia.
Methods: We examined the record of all colonic biopsies, processed at Histopathology Department of King Abdul Aziz University Hospital; Jeddah from January 2002 to July 2007.
Results: The colonic biopsies received during the study period were 711.
Objective: To observe the pattern of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) among the people of Western region of Saudi Arabia, and to correlate the findings with published data.
Methods: This is a retrospective study. All colonic biopsies were reviewed which were received, and processed at the Histopathology Department of King Abdul-Aziz University Hospital, Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from January 2002 to July 2007.
We report a 36-year-old woman, presented with cervical lymphadenopathy and low-grade fever. Two fine needle aspiration cytology and one excisional biopsy were performed in the referral hospital, all showed granulomatous lesions without necrosis. A tentative diagnosis of tuberculosis was made, and she started on antituberculous treatment.

Malignant transformation is rare and should be suspected when these lesions present with pain, bleeding or itching. We report a 44-year-old male patient who presented primarily with a lesion diagnostic of benign eccrine poroma of the right foot sole with no clear evidence of malignancy, which was incompletely excised, followed 5 months later by local recurrence, ulceration, occasional bleeding and right inguinal lymphadenopathy.
