Abdominal pain in children in COVID-19 era should be carefully evaluated and weighing risk-benefit of surgical procedure in suspected cases should be more discussed. Surgery in patients with high suspicious to MIS-C should be delayed for preventing critical outcomes.

We report first viral meningitis associated with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in a patient hospitalized at Imam Hassan Hospital in Bojnurd. The patient was a 9-year-old child with no history of internal disease who referred to the emergency with a complaint of fever, headache and low back pain, about 3 days after the onset of symptoms. finally, viral meningitis was diagnosed with COVID-19.

Methods: The cross-sectional study was conducted at Imam Reza Hospital in Bojnurd, Iran, in June 2013 and comprised 90 children below 5 years of age suffering from respiratory infections. They was selected on the basis of purposive sampling and were then categorised into two equal groups of 'acute' and 'non-acute' respiratory infection.
Background: Health-related quality of life (HRQOL) is a concept that relates to an individual's perception of health status in relation to the culture and value systems in which they live, in addition to their expectations, goals, concerns, and living standards. Considering the size of the population affected by Chronic Liver Diseases (CLDs) and the severity and chronic nature of the symptoms, there is an emerging need to evaluate the quality of life of patients using a standard protocol. The aim of this study is to assess the HRQOL in children with CLD based on child self-report and parent proxy-report forms.

Methods: In this cross-sectional study, 361 subjects (175 boys and 186 girls) aged 7-18 years participated; 25(OH)D, parathyroid hormone (PTH), and anthropometric measurements were obtained.
