Naringin, a flavanone glycoside found abundantly in citrus fruits, is well-known for its various pharmacological properties, particularly its significant anticancer effects. Research, both in vitro and in vivo, has shown that naringin is effective against several types of cancer, including liver, breast, thyroid, prostate, colon, bladder, cervical, lung, ovarian, brain, melanoma, and leukemia. Its anticancer properties are mediated through multiple mechanisms, such as apoptosis induction, inhibition of cell proliferation, cell cycle arrest, and suppression of angiogenesis, metastasis, and invasion, all while exhibiting minimal toxicity and adverse effects.

Sparse Bayesian learning via Expectation Maximization (SBL-EM) algorithm is not practically feasible for high signal dimensions because estimating sparse signals and designing optimal hybrid precoders/combiners using SBL-EM still provide high computational complexity for higher signal dimensions. To overcome the issues of high computational complexity along with making it suitable for larger data sets, in this paper, we propose Learned-Sparse Bayesian Learning with Generalized Approximate Message Passing algorithm (L-SBL-GAMP) algorithm for designing optimal hybrid precoders/combiners suitable for mmWave Massive MIMO systems.

Objective: To describe and analyze the clinical and hematological characteristics of 300 hospitalized COVID-19 patients in Erbil, Kurdistan.
Methods: This retrospective study included 300 patients of any age admitted to hospital due to confirmed COVID-19 between September 2020 and February 2021.
This study focuses on the properties and process parameters dictating behavioural aspects of friction stir welded Aluminium Alloy AA6061 metal matrix composites reinforced with varying percentages of SiC and BC. The joint properties in terms of mechanical strength, microstructural integrity and quality were examined. The weld reveals grain refinement and uniform distribution of reinforced particles in the joint region leading to improved strength compared to other joints of varying base material compositions.

Sheehan's syndrome, first described in 1937, is characterised by postpartum haemorrhage, pituitary necrosis, lactational failure and hypopitutarism. Presentation is variable and late presentations are not unusual due to partial ischaemic injury of the pituitary and gradual loss of endocrine function. A history of postpartum haemorrhage is usual but in some cases it is not elicited.

Homologies, observed at both nucleic acid and amino acid levels, and also the intronless structure of this gene, strongly suggest that it corresponds to a heat-inducible hsp70 gene in carp. Gene-specific primers were selected and used in RT-PCR reactions to measure the basal hsp70 mRNA levels and to follow the inducer-specific expression of this gene in different tissues during in vivo studies.

METHODS; In electrophysiologic experiments, the functional states of the gap junctions were manipulated with a specific blocker (carbenoxolone) or opener (trimethylamine) at the already active focus of adult, anesthetized rats, 60 min after the induction of the first seizure, which was repeated spontaneously thereafter. Semiquantitative reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) amplification was used to measure the levels of connexin (Cx) 32, 43, and 36 messenger RNAs (mRNAs) prepared from the areas of the already active primary and mirror foci.

Two genes expressing 70 kDa heat shock proteins were identified in Cyprinus carpio. The sequence similarities and the intron-interrupted structure of the coding regions indicate that carp Hsc70-1 and Hsc70-2 belong to the Hsp70 cognate subfamily. The expressions of the two hsc70 genes were followed by semi-quantitative RT-PCR.
