Unusual Distribution of Cerebral Venous Thrombosis in a Patient With Sickle Cell Disease: A Case Study.

This study presents the case of a 29-year-old Bahraini woman with a known history of sickle cell disease who exhibited acute neurological symptoms. Advanced imaging, specifically CT and MRI, identified cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT). The patient was managed with fluid therapy and anticoagulation, and received a packed red blood cell transfusion, leading to a complete recovery.

Clinical delineation of myasthenia gravis in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Objectives: To report demographic and clinical data on 98 myasthenia gravis (MG) patients, seen over 5 years (January 2014-December 2018).

Methods: This was a retrospective, observational cohort study carried out at 3 hospitals in Bahrain. MG was classified into ocular or generalized types.
