This paper presents the results of visible-light assisted photocatalytic ozonation for the degradation of naproxen as a model pharmaceutical pollutant from water using MoS/N-TiO immobilized on a titanium mesh plate in addition to treatment of a real industrial wastewater. The batch studies were performed for naproxen degradation by varying the reaction variables such as ozone flow rate, initial pH and pollutant concertation. It was observed that almost 90% degradation was achieved at pH = 4, ozone flow rate = 3 L min and initial naproxen concentration = 5 mg L.

Article Synopsis
  • A novel electrochemical biosensor was created using a glassy carbon electrode modified with multiple materials to detect DNA damage caused by bisphenol A (BPA).
  • The modifications were characterized using various electrochemical techniques and microscopy, showing significant results related to DNA damage.
  • The biosensor demonstrated rapid and sensitive detection capabilities for DNA damage due to BPA and established methods for measuring BPA levels.
