Colonic perforation is associated with high mortality rates, and it requires prompt diagnosis and intervention to ensure favorable patient outcomes. The condition usually presents with typical peritoneal signs and symptoms, but atypical presentations can be a diagnostic challenge. In this report, we present a case of sigmoid diverticulosis perforation in an elderly patient who had no symptoms after the perforation developed.

Spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) is an important and rare cause of myocardial infarction (MI), particularly among young women without traditional atherosclerotic risk factors. Late pregnancy and postpartum period are associated with more risk for developing SCAD. This is a case of a 71-year-old smoker man who presented with four days of gross hematuria, which turned to be caused by eosinophilic cystitis (EC) proven by bladder biopsy. EC is a rare clinical and pathological inflammatory condition of the bladder with an unknown exact cause. Dobutamine stress echocardiography (DSE) is a commonly utilized method for coronary artery disease (CAD) diagnosis, and it provides important long-term prognostic information. We report a case of a 53-year-old female with multiple cardiovascular risk factors who underwent DSE for evaluation of underlying CAD. The examination was complicated by wide complex tachycardia and promoted administration of esmolol, which shortly led to ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI).

Epidermoid cysts are asymptomatic, slowly enlarging, firm to fluctuant, dome-shaped lesions. Epidermoid cysts frequently appear on the trunk, neck, face, and scrotum, behind the ears and in the palmoplantar region. We review all the cases of epidermoid cyst of the knee and present a case of non-traumatic-induced epidermal cyst in the popliteal fossa of a 66-year-old male with 10-year history of right knee swelling, which appeared firstly as a small mass 2 × 2 cm in the popliteal aspect of the knee.
