The Nile Delta, North Africa's leading gas-producing region, was the focus of this study aimed at delineating gas-bearing sandstone reservoirs from the Pleistocene to Pliocene formations using a combination of pre-stack inversion and rock physics analysis. This research employed seismic inversion techniques, including full-angle stack seismic volumes, well logs, and 3-D with rock physics modeling to refine volumes of P-wave velocity (Vp), S-wave velocity (Vs), and density. Traditional seismic attributes, such as far amplitude, proved insufficient for confirming gas presence, highlighting partial angle stacks, integrated the need for advanced methods.

Methods: We retrospectively reviewed Saudi patients with genetically confirmed hereditary hyperekplexia using a standard questionnaire that was sent to nine major referral hospitals in Saudi Arabia.
Purpose: Surgical therapy of infective endocarditis (IE) is challenging and can be associated with high mortality. In this study, we present the early outcomes of patients who underwent cardiac surgery for IE.
Methods: From 2017 until 2019, 66 patients underwent surgical treatment for IE.
A series of novel 1,3,4-triarylpyrazoles containing different heterocycles has been prepared, characterized and screened for their in vitro antiproliferative activity against HePG-2, MCF-7, PC-3, A-549 and HCT-116 cancer cell lines. The biological results revealed that compound showed the highest anticancer activity so it was subjected to a kinase assay study where it reduced the activity of several protein kinases including AKT1, AKT2, BRAF V600E, EGFR, p38α and PDGFRβ at 100 μM using the radiometric or ADP-Glo assay method. Molecular docking simulation supported the initial kinase assay and suggested a common mode of interaction at the ATP-binding sites of these kinases, which demonstrates that compound is a potential agent for cancer therapy deserving further research.
