Investigation of peri-implant bone healing using autologous plasma rich in growth factors in the canine mandible after 12 weeks: a pilot study.

Introduction: Faster reconstruction of patients' masticatory systems is the aim of modern dentistry. A number of studies have indicated that application of growth factors to the surface of a dental implant leads to accelerated and enhanced osseointegration. The objective of the present study was to investigate the effect of plasma rich in growth factors on peri-implant bone healing.
