A microbiologic investigation following the disinfection of irreversible hydrocolloid materials using the spray method.

Antimicrobial efficacy of three spray disinfectants--0.525 percent sodium hypochlorite (bleach), deconex and Sanosil--was evaluated on contaminated alginate disks. Disks were sprayed eight to 10 times after rinsing in water for 15 seconds.
