Background: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a major public health problem that remains largely under-diagnosed, mainly due to the under-use of spirometry to establish the diagnosis. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the Moroccan Arabic dialect version of the COPD Assessment Test (CAT) in screening for COPD.

Methods: This was a cross-sectional study carried out in primary care facilities in Morocco, involving participants aged 40 and over.

NOMAD spectrometer on the ExoMars trace gas orbiter mission: part 2-design, manufacturing, and testing of the ultraviolet and visible channel.

NOMAD is a spectrometer suite on board the ESA/Roscosmos ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter, which launched in March 2016. Autocorrelation and phase retrieval in the UV using two-photon absorption in diamond pin photodiodes.
