Background: Ventricular tachycardia (VT) in patients with cardiac sarcoidosis (CS) can lead to sudden cardiac death. The role of ventricular tachycardia ablation (VTA) in CS has been investigated in a few small, single-center, and larger observational studies, but the evidence still needs to be provided. This study aimed to investigate the clinical outcomes of VTA in patients with CS admitted with a diagnosis of VT.

This has been associated with poor clinical outcomes. We aim to investigate the impact of anemia on clinical outcomes in patients with AF on oral anticoagulation.

The pathogenesis of SCAD is not completely understood, and the association between coronary artery anomalies and SCAD remains unclear. This case study reports a unique occurrence of non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) in a 43-year-old female patient.

Our goal was to evaluate the use of tacrolimus versus cyclosporine in preventing these complications after LTx.
Methods: We included randomized controlled trials (RCTs) by searching PubMed, Web of Science, SCOPUS, and Cochrane through January 10th, 2024.
Introduction: Remote ischemic preconditioning (RIPC) is a phenomenon in which the induction of shortened periods of ischemia prior to surgical procedures within a distant tissue preserves other tissues or organs of concern, such as the liver or kidney in transplant surgery, in the event of prolonged ischemic insults. The authors aim to evaluate the effectiveness of RIPC in patients undergoing transplant surgery, specifically kidney and liver transplants.
Materials And Methods: PubMed, Embase, and Scopus were searched until 19 December 2023 for trials evaluating RIPC in patients undergoing transplant surgery.
Background: Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma (ESCC) contributes to the global burden of disease. Conventional treatments such as surgical resection and chemotherapy offer limited long-term survival rates. Recently, immunotherapies targeting PD-1 have shown promise in other cancers, but their efficacy in ESCC remains unclear.

Methods And Results: A network meta-analysis was conducted until April 1st, 2024, using the netmeta package in R studio 4.3.
Introduction Delirium is a common and serious neuropsychiatric disorder, of acute onset, present at any age, but more common in older adults, and very common in clinical practice. It combines mental and behavioral symptoms with a fluctuating course, with worsening of the condition in the afternoon and at night, with important repercussions on increased mortality, greater risk of cognitive impairment, and hospitalization costs. Delirium's impact extends to patients, families, and healthcare systems, emphasizing the need for public awareness and education in Saudi Arabia.

Materials And Methods: This retrospective study evaluated 803 bitewing radiographs of posterior proximal resin composite restorations placed by dental students at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University. Atypical radiographic signs of failure were screened, and different patient-, operator-, and clinical-related factors were recorded.
Painful left bundle branch block (LBBB) syndrome is a rare cause of episodic chest pain associated with transient LBBB in the absence of flow-limiting coronary artery disease and myocardial ischaemia on functional testing. The aetiology of this phenomenon is not clear, but in many reported cases, these transient episodes of LBBB are rate related. The mechanism of chest pain is not well understood.

Objectives: This study aimed to investigate age-related differences in TTS.
Methods: Patients diagnosed with TTS and enrolled in the International Takotsubo Registry between January 2011 and February 2017 were included in this analysis and were stratified by age (younger: ≤50 years, middle-age: 51 to 74 years, elderly: ≥75 years).
Background: The demand for orthodontic treatment is on the rise, and there are high patient expectations for improved dentofacial appearance. Patient satisfaction with orthodontic treatment is associated with improving treatment outcomes.
Objective: To evaluate patient satisfaction with orthodontic treatment received in public and private hospitals.
Background: Newborn screening for sickle cell disease, other hemoglobinopathies and G6PD deficiency is one of the most important means of decreasing mortality and morbidity in high prevalence areas. Nine years experience in newborn screening in Qatif Central Hospital are summarized.
Patients And Methods: All newborns in Qatif Central Hospital had cord blood screening for sickle cell disease, other hemoglobinopathies and G6PD deficiency using alkaline and electrophoresis, agar gel electrophoresis for sickle cell disease and fluorescent screening technique for G6PD deficiency.
