Recent advances in machine learning and speech analysis have opened up opportunities for real-time monitoring of the behavior and health of flock. However, there has been little research on using Tiny Machine Learning (Tiny ML) for continuous vocalization monitoring in poultry.

Real-world clinical outcome of unresectable locally advanced & de-novo metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma: a multicentre retrospective study.

Background: Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) remains one of the most lethal malignancies, with limited treatment options yielding poor outcomes. This study aimed to evaluate the real-world clinical characteristics, treatment patterns, and outcomes of patients with locally advanced unresectable and de-novo metastatic PDAC in Saudi Arabia, providing regional data to compare with international benchmarks.

Methods: This is a retrospective, multicentre study involving 350 patients diagnosed with unresectable locally advanced or de-novo metastatic PDAC between January 2015 and November 2023.

The use of a dual-material gate and electrostatically doped drain enhances the ON state performance and short channel performance, respectively, in comparison to state-of-the-art devices.

EPAS1-related pheochromocytoma/paraganglioma.

In 2012, somatic EPAS1 pathogenic variants were found to cause a triad of pheochromocytoma/paragangliomas (PPGLs), polycythemia, and somatostatinoma. Since then, a limited number of studies on this subject have been reported, and data on the long-term outcome of metastatic disease are not available on this rare syndrome. We comprehensively reviewed EPAS1-related PPGL and describe an unusual patient who has been living with an EPAS1-related metastatic PPGL for 47 years.
