Risk factors of erosive esophagitis and barrett's esophagus in patients with reflux symptoms.

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a prevalent condition. Erosive esophagitis (EE) and Barrett's esophagus (BE) are the two important complications of GERD. We aimed to study the prevalence of EE and BE in a group of Patients with reflux symptoms who were referred for endoscopy.
