In deeper layers, ResNet heavily depends on skip connections and Relu. Although skip connections have demonstrated their usefulness in networks, a major issue arises when the dimensions between layers are not consistent. In such cases, it is necessary to use techniques such as zero-padding or projection to match the dimensions between layers.

An enormous number of CNN classification algorithms have been proposed in the literature. Nevertheless, in these algorithms, appropriate filter size selection, data preparation, limitations in datasets, and noise have not been taken into consideration. As a consequence, most of the algorithms have failed to make a noticeable improvement in classification accuracy.

To enhance aphid detection efficiency, a framework based on oriented FAST and rotated BRIEF (ORB) and CNNs (EADF) is proposed by us to detect aphids in images. Firstly, the key point is to find regions of aphids.
