Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is the most common type of renal neoplasm. It accounts for 3% of solid tumors in adults and mostly affects men with the peak incidence between the fifth and seventh decades. It metastasizes mainly through the hematogenous spread, and the lung is the most common site of metastasis followed by bone, lymph node, liver, brain, and adrenal glands.

Obscure Gastrointestinal Bleeding Due to Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drug-Induced Colopathy.

Obscure gastrointestinal (GI) bleeding poses a diagnostic challenge and is associated with high mortality. We report a case of life-threatening obscure GI bleeding precipitated by the ingestion of a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). The source of bleeding could not be identified preoperatively, and hence exploratory laparotomy was performed.
