The IntFOLD server based at the University of Reading has been a leading method over the past decade in providing free access to accurate prediction of protein structures and functions. In a post-AlphaFold2 world, accurate models of tertiary structures are widely available for even more protein targets, so there has been a refocus in the prediction community towards the accurate modelling of protein-ligand interactions as well as modelling quaternary structure assemblies. In this paper, we describe the latest improvements to IntFOLD, which maintains its competitive structure prediction performance by including the latest deep learning methods while also integrating accurate model quality estimates and 3D models of protein-ligand interactions.

The Role of the Temporary Contracting and Visiting Doctor Program in Supporting the Health System during and after COVID-19 Pandemic in Saudi Arabia.

Background: Adequate supply of health workforce with proper skills is essential to deliver appropriate health services in normal times and during disasters.

Objective: To describe the role of the Saudi Temporary Contracting and Visiting Doctors Program in the provision of critical care during COVID-19 pandemic, and in the clearance of the surgical backlog thereafter.

Methods: We reviewed reports of General Directorate of Health Services and Saudi Ministry of Health annual statistical books to obtain the following data: number of temporary healthcare professionals contracted from 2019 to 2022; number of intensive care unit beds before and during COVID-19 pandemic; volume of elective surgeries before, during and after COVID-19 pandemic.

Cryotherapy for Eccrine Poroma: A Case Report.

Eccrine poroma (EP) is a benign adnexal tumor that is derived from acrosyringium, the intraepidermal eccrine duct of sweat glands. The standard treatment for eccrine poroma is complete excision. However, this case report highlights cryotherapy as one of the modalities in treating eccrine poroma.

The importance of combining serological testing with RT-PCR assays for efficient detection of COVID-19 and higher diagnostic accuracy.

Misdiagnosing suspected COVID-19 individuals could largely contribute to the viruses transmission, therefore, making an accurate diagnosis of infected subjects vital in minimizing and containing the disease. Although RT-PCR is the standard method in detecting COVID-19, it is associated with some limitations, including possible false negative results. Therefore, serological testing has been suggested as a complement assay to RT-PCR to support the diagnosis of acute infections.

Valsartan was used as an internal standard. The method was validated as per International Conference on Harmonization guidelines.

T-2 toxin induces dermal inflammation and toxicity in mice: The healing potential of menthol.

According to the World Health Organization and the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, T-2 is one of the most harmful food-toxic chemicals, penetrates intact skin. The current study examined the protective benefits of menthol topical treatment on T-2 toxin-induced cutaneous toxicity in mice. Lesions were observed on the skin of the T-2 toxin-treated groups at 72 and 120 h.

Cobalt availability in the soil plant and animal food chain: a study under a peri-urban environment.

Present investigation was undertaken in the peri-urban area to analyze the cobalt availability in animal food chain by using different indices. Cow, buffalo and sheep samples along with forage and soil samples were collected from the three different sites of District Jhang and analyzed through atomic absorption spectrophotometer.

Although several ophthalmic manifestations of sickle cell disease (SCD) are common, orbital bone infarction is rare. Orbital bones have less bone marrow creating an unlikely place to develop infarction. However, having a patient with SCD presenting with periorbital swelling should warrant imaging to rule out bone infarction.

Prevalence of sleep problems and habits among children in Saudi Arabia: A cross-sectional study.

Objectives: To investigate children's sleep problems, habits, and lifestyle changes.

Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried out in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, over a period of 2 months, from August through September 2022, with parents of children aged 2-14 years after reviewing the literature and formulating a validated Google questionnaire containing 30 questions related to sleep habits, problems, and disorders.

Results: In total, 585 questionnaires were included in the analysis.

De Novo Design of Imidazopyridine-Tethered Pyrazolines That Target Phosphorylation of STAT3 in Human Breast Cancer Cells.

The Silk sericin protein was conjugated with magnesium oxide (MgO) nanoparticles to form SS-MgO-NPs . UV, XRD, FTIR, SEM, DLS, and EDX were used to confirm the formation of SS-MgO-NPs. The absorption band of SS-MgO-NPs using UV-visible spectra was observed at 310 nm, with an average size of the nanoparticles was 65-88 nm analyzed from DLS.

Ophthalmic Manifestations of Arterial Tortuosity Syndrome: Case Series of Patient and Carriers.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to report the detailed ophthalmic findings in a young patient with genetically confirmed arterial tortuosity syndrome (ATS) and the findings in 8 family members who were carriers.

Methods: Nine members of the same Saudi family were assessed at King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for ATS-related ocular changes after homozygosity for the pathogenic variant of SLC2A10 gene was confirmed in 1 member. All family members underwent complete ophthalmic examination, genetic testing, and corneal tomography at presentation and at 6-month follow-up.
