This is a case report of a one-year-and-nine-month-old girl with multiple guttate psoriasis skin lesions, non-traumatic knee arthritis, and no family history of autoimmune diseases. Assisted reproductive technology (ART) nowadays plays a major role in the treatment of infertility, with the most frequently used techniques being in vitro fertilization (IVF) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). The objective of this study is to analyze pregnancies achieved using these ART techniques and their correlations with the prematurity and congenital malformations rates. This is an observational retrospective longitudinal study that includes 814 newborns conceived through an ART, namely IVF or ICSI.

Background: Complete blood count, C-reactive protein and transaminases are routine laboratory parameters investigated in children with infections, including COVID 19. We aimed to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of these parameters in children diagnosed with COVID 19.

Methods: At the time of admission, children with COVID 19 suggestive symptoms were tested RT-PCR for SARS CoV-2 and were allocated to either the study group (RT-PCR SARS CoV-2 positive) or control group (RT-PCR SARS CoV-2 negative).

(1) Background: Osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) is a rare skeletal dysplasia characterized as a heterogeneous disorder group with well-defined phenotypic and genetic features that share uncommon bone fragility. The current treatment options, medical and orthopedic, are limited and not efficient enough to improve the low bone density, bone fragility, growth, and mobility of the affected individuals, creating the need for alternative therapeutic agents. (2) Methods: We searched the medical database to find papers regarding treatments for OI other than conventional ones.

(1) Background: With an incidence of 4-10%, infantile hemangiomas (IH) are the most encountered benign tumors in infancy. Low birth weight (LBW), prematurity, female sex, multiple gestations, and family history of IH are some of the statistically proven risk factors for developing IH. The aim of our study was to evaluate the prevalence of IH in our clinic and its connection to maternal and perinatal factors.

The use of assisted reproductive technology has increased in Romania in the past several years. Although most of these pregnancies are uncomplicated, in vitro fertilization is associated with an increased risk for adverse perinatal outcomes primarily caused by the increased risks of prematurity, gestational diabetes mellitus, and hypertensive disorders. Infertility can be caused by a variety of factors, including both male and female factors, and in some cases, the cause remains unknown.
