Open traditional approach is often aggressive and offers a burden on the patient's life, imposing longer hospital stays, scarring, and higher levels of complications. Here, we present a case of a small child with Wilms tumor on the right kidney that was successfully treated with minimally invasive surgery, with no tumor spillage or rupture, hospital discharge in the next day, and good oncological outcome, with 1-year recurrence-free follow-up.
