Introduction: The purpose of this study is to evaluate YouTube content about metoidioplasty on completeness of perioperative information, actionability, understandability, degree of misinformation, quality, and presence of commercial bias.
Methods: A YouTube search for "Metoidioplasty" was conducted and the first 100 video results were watched by five independent reviewers. Videos in English <30 minutes in length were included and videos primarily showing surgical footage were excluded.
Purpose: Our purpose was to determine changes in patient-reported hematuria and urinary symptoms after hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) treatment for radiation cystitis (RC).
Materials And Methods: We analyzed prospectively collected data from the Multicenter Registry for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Consortium accumulated within a week of beginning and ending HBO. Measures included the modified Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG) Hematuria Scale, Urinary Distress Inventory Short Form, and EuroQol Five Dimension Five Level instrument.
Background: The risk of early-onset and clinically aggressive prostate cancer is elevated in carriers of certain rare pathogenic germline mutations. The utility of augmenting traditional prostate-specific antigen (PSA)-based screening measures with multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in this population is not yet known.
Objective: To evaluate MRI-based screening in comparison with traditional PSA-based screening among individuals at an elevated genetic risk for prostate cancer.
