Background: The diagnosis of ulcerative colitis (UC) today is limited to a small number of biomarkers. Trimethylamine-N-oxide (TMAO) is the product of reactions resulting from the degradation of dietary-free choline, phosphatidylcholine, and carnitine metabolism by the intestinal microbiota. Earlier studies showed his involvement in the pathogenesis of UC.

The boundaries between them are defined by relatively few diagnostic characters, and their identification is not fully solved. Recent studies have demonstrated that the number of ovules present in the ovaries of the willow flower can assist in the identification of the species.

We hypothesized that inserting a preputial mucosal graft over the dorsal raw area after the midline incision may avoid scarring and improve urethral compliance.
Materials And Methods: Adult rabbits were submitted to tubularized incised plate urethroplasty with or without inlay preputial graft according to a previously described protocol.
