Purpose: Waste collection is considered particularly heavy work, although no previous study has yet investigated the strain of bulk waste collection. The aim of this study is to determine the workload of bulk waste workers in practice.
Method: We conducted a cross-sectional field-study.
The specific inhalation challenge (SIC), a workplace-related inhalation exposure test, is used to identify allergic asthma when symptoms such as coughing, wheezing, or dyspnea occur at the workplace. Its use is risky. A cook (28 years old) has been complaining of rhinoconjunctivitis and contact urticaria while preparing seafood for 3 years.

As shown by earlier theoretical and numerical studies, one observes freezing of the modulated liquid upon increase of the substrate potential amplitude, and reentrant melting back into the modulated liquid when the substrate potential amplitude is increased even further. The purpose of our present work is to calculate the freezing and reentrant melting phase diagram based on information from the bulk system.

In the first part of the paper, we present numerical results from free minimization of a mean-field density functional for a system of particles interacting via the GEM-4 potential. We show that the system does indeed display a LIF transition, although the interaction potential is markedly different from the cases studied before.

This increase in FIO2, however, often leads to errors in the calculation of oxygen consumption ([Formula: see text]). These inconsistencies are due to the application of the Haldane Transformation (HT), an otherwise indispensable correction factor in the calculation of [Formula: see text] that becomes inaccurate at higher FIO2 concentrations.

Typically, the rate of this heating is orders of magnitude larger than expected from electric field fluctuations due to thermal motion of electrons in the conductors. This effect, known as anomalous heating, is not fully understood.

The primary goal of this project was to determine whether ACT was feasible for this population. Seven older primary-care patients with GAD received 12 individual sessions of ACT; another 9 were treated with cognitive-behavioral therapy.

This has been explained by the very high overvoltage for oxygen production and many other anodic electrode processes on diamond anodes. Additionally, the boron-doped diamond electrodes exhibit a high mechanical and chemical stability.
