Methods: We analysed data from 326 lower tier English local authorities.
Background: The relationship between deprivation and oral cancer is complex. We examined magnitude and shape of deprivation-related inequalities in oral cancer in England 2012-2016.
Methods: Oral cancer was indicated by cancers of the lip and oral cavity (ICD10 C00-C06) and lip, oral cavity and pharynx (C00-C14) and deprivation by the Index of Multiple Deprivation.
Globally, the oral health needs of children who have, or are suspected of having, experienced abuse or neglect has become a focus of concern. It is thus valuable and timely to map the contemporary nature of the research landscape in this expanding field. This review reports the findings of a scoping review of the international empirical literature.

The mechanisms underpinning these divergent observations are unknown but may relate to the reduced availability of circulating fatty acids. The aim of this study was to determine whether the enhancements in insulin stimulated glucose metabolism in ATGL-/- mice persist when challenged with a high-fat diet.
