Study Design: Scoping review.
Objective: To identify which markers are used as surrogates for malnutrition in metastatic spine disease and which are the most studied outcomes associated with it.
Methods: A scoping review was performed by searching the PubMed/Medline, EMBASE, and Web of Science databases up to July 2022.
Study Design: Systematic review and clinimetric analysis.
Objectives: Frailty and sarcopenia predict worse surgical outcomes among spinal degenerative and deformity-related populations; this association is less clear in the context of spinal oncology. Here, we sought to identify frailty and sarcopenia tools applied in spinal oncology and appraise their clinimetric properties.

Introduction: Primary dedifferentiated liposarcomas of the spine mark a rare tumor entity.
Research Question And Case Description: We present a rare case of a primary dedifferentiated liposarcoma of the thoracic spine. A 36-year-old previously completely healthy woman presented with a sudden ascending paresthesia of both legs, persistently increasing over the course of two days before initial presentation.

We evaluated the diagnostic sensitivity of these three procedures and assessed how it is influenced by antibiotics.

Malignancies with an extended encasement or infiltration of the aorta were previously considered inoperable. This series demonstrates replacement and subsequent resection of the thoracoabdominal aorta and its large branches as an adjunct to curative radical retroperitoneal and spinal tumor resection. Five consecutive patients were enrolled between 2016 and 2020, suffering from cancer of unknown primary, pleomorphic carcinoma, chordoma, rhabdoid sarcoma, and endometrial cancer metastasis.

The clinical databases were screened for specific trauma mechanism, level of injury as well as accompanying injuries.
