Thermodynamics of liquid water in terms of a non-standard approach-the ion-molecular model-is considered. Water is represented as a dense gas of neutral HO molecules and single charged HO and OH ions. The molecules and ions perform thermal collisional motion and interconvert due to ion exchange.

Such expansions of non-native species bring potential risks to the ecosystems in question. It has not yet been established if the spawning events of pink salmon observed are the result of self-sustaining populations in these areas, or are because of repeated invasions of strayers from the White Sea stocks.

In fact, it is the third most farmed fish species worldwide according to the Food and Agriculture Organization. More than four million tons of common carp are produced annually in aquaculture, and more than a hundred thousand tons are caught from the wild.

To contribute to a better understanding of the genetic diversity and species relationships in this genus, comparative studies of karyotypes and genomes of species within section Syllinum Griseb. (2n = 26, 28) were carried out.

However, the available genetic data are insufficient to distinguish between different sturgeon populations, and are even unable to distinguish between some species. We performed high-throughput single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP)-genotyping analysis on different populations of Russian (Acipenser gueldenstaedtii), Persian (A.
