Background: Although malocclusion is the third most prevalent oral health condition, orthodontics is not part of the minimum list of mandatory specialties to be offered in the Dental Specialty Centers of the Brazilian public health system, but rather as optional. Since the acknowledgment of this field as a part of the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS), access to orthodontic procedures has become optional by municipal governments. Background: To compare, through a systematic literature review, the cost-effectiveness ratio of home care compared to hospital care for following up patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Methods: This review was registered in PROSPERO, and the bibliographic search was performed in six primary databases [MedLine (via PubMed), Scopus, LILACS, SciELO, Web of Science, and Embase], two dedicated databases for economic studies (NHS Economic Evaluation Database (NHS EED) and Cost-Effectiveness Analysis (CEA) Registry), and two databases for partially searching the "gray literature" (DansEasy and ProQuest). This review only included studies that compared home and hospital care for patients diagnosed with COPD, regardless of publication year or language.
To plan and evaluate public health policies, it is important to understand the influence of social factors on the quality and access to dental care. This study aimed to verify the potential association between the indicators of pregnant women receiving dental care and the social and health care indicators of cities in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. A cross-sectional ecological study was performed with secondary data from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics and the Health Care Department of the Ministry of Health regarding the cities of Minas Gerais.

Objective: To review the scientific literature in order to identify the levels of quality of life, in their dimensions, of Family Health Strategy workers.
To evaluate the oral health status of children who require in-home medical care, their oral hygiene and eating habits, and the association between oral health status and medical conditions.
Legal guardians of children who need in-home medical care were interviewed regarding their socioeconomic level and their children's medical and dental history, as well as their oral hygiene habits. An oral exam assessed the children's plaque level, caries experience, and periodontal disease.

Orthopantomogram and computed tomography examinations revealed an extensive, well-defined, and multilocular radiolucent lesion. Histopathological examination after incisional biopsy confirmed OKC, which was removed completely with enucleation and curettage, followed by the endodontic treatments of teeth 36 to 45 using reciprocating nickel-titanium files (Reciproc) in a single session.
