Principal component analysis (PCA) is a technique for reducing the dimensionality of large datasets containing highly correlated variables, such as texture feature datasets derived from FDG PET images, increasing data interpretability whilst at the same time minimizing information loss by creating new uncorrelated variables that successively maximize variance. Background: The purpose of this study was to analyze running biomechanical alterations according to different slopes (flat, uphill and downhill) and distance, during a 40-km mountain trail running race.
Methods: Throughout the race, eight runners were equipped with Runscribe inertial units placed on each running shoe. Measurements included spatiotemporal parameters (contact time, step frequency, stride length, running speed), kinetic (impact peak and braking force) and kinematic data (foot pronation velocity and foot pronation excursion).

Postmarketing studies have additionally shown improvement in liver parameters in diabetic dyslipidemia patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) who received saroglitazar.
Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of saroglitazar on liver function test, liver fibrosis score by FibroScan, lipid profiles, HbA1c in NAFLD patients with diabetic dyslipidemia in southern India.
This study aims at assessing the fate of MV Wakashio oil spill, and the driving forces responsible for possible environmental consequences of polluted coastal region. GNOME simulations were performed, considering various meteo-oceanographic forcings such as (i) winds and currents, (ii) only winds, and (iii) only winds with different diffusion coefficients, and validated with the satellite images. The results revealed that the simulations performed with 'only winds' reasonably match with the satellite observations, indicating that winds are the primary driving forces.

Many of these probes were shown to specifically bind to their apoptotic target in vitro and their uptake to be enhanced in the in vivo-xenografted tumours in mice treated by means of chemotherapy, however, to a significantly variable degree. This may, in part, relate to the tumour model used given the fact that different tumour cell lines bear a different sensitivity to a similar chemotherapeutic agent, to differences in the chemotherapeutic concentration and exposure time, as well as to the different timing of imaging performed post-treatment.
