Long-term tirzepatide treatment induced weight loss, mitigated obesity-driven changes in circulating metabolic hormone levels, and suppressed orthotopic E0771 mammary tumor growth. Relative to tirzepatide, chronic calorie restriction, an established anticancer intervention in preclinical models, promoted even greater weight loss, systemic hormonal regulation, and tumor suppression.

Background: Basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF)-mediated vascular smooth muscle cell (VSMC) proliferation and migration play an important role in vascular injury-induced neointima formation and subsequent vascular restenosis, a major event that hinders the long-term success of angioplasty. The function of β-adrenergic receptors (β-ARs) in vascular injury-induced neointima formation has not yet been defined.
Objectives: Our current study explored the possible role of β-ARs in vascular injury-induced neointima formation by testing its effects on bFGF-induced VSMC migration and proliferation.
The present study investigated the immunoenhancing property of our newly designed nanovaccine, that is, its ability to induce antigen-specific immunity. This study also evaluated the synergistic effect of a novel compound PBS-44, an α-galactosylceramide analog, in boosting the immune response induced by our nanovaccine. The nanovaccine was prepared by encapsulating ovalbumin (ova) and an adjuvant within the poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) nanoparticles.
