This study was conducted to determine whether image-free RA-TKA improves function compared to conventional total knee arthroplasty (C-TKA), performed without the utilization of robotics or navigation, using the Minimal Clinically Important Difference (MCID) and Patient Acceptable Symptom State (PASS) as measures of meaningful clinical improvement.
Methods: A multicenter propensity score-matched retrospective study was conducted of RA-TKA using an image-free robotic system and C-TKA cases at an average follow-up of 14 months (range, 12 months to 20 months).
Aim: To examine the role of [18F]FDG PET/CT for assessing response to immunotherapy in patients with some solid tumors.
Methods: Data recorded in a multicenter ( = 17), retrospective database between March and November 2021 were analyzed. The sample included patients with a confirmed diagnosis of a solid tumor who underwent serial [18F]FDG PET/CT (before and after one or more cycles of immunotherapy), who were >18 years of age, and had a follow-up of at least 12 months after their first PET/CT scan.
Riders’ asymmetry may cause back pain in both human and equine athletes. This pilot study aimed at documenting in a simple and quick way asymmetry in riders during a simulation of three different riding positions on wooden horseback using load cells applied on the stirrup leathers and identifying possible associations between riders’ asymmetry and their gender, age, level of riding ability, years of riding experience, riding style, motivation of riding, primary discipline and handedness. After completing an interview to obtain the previously mentioned information, 147 riders performed a standardized test on a saddle fixed on a wooden horseback-shaped model.

Methods: The authors conducted a single-center prospective study on 47 relapsed/refractory LBCL receiving CAR T-cell therapy to evaluate the prognostic value of baseline and after infusion F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography (PET)-computed tomography. Qualitative and quantitative metabolic parameters were evaluated before lymphodepletion, at day 30 and 90 post-infusion.
Background: Cyclic fasting or calorie-restricted, low-carbohydrate, low-protein diets, collectively referred to as fasting-mimicking diets (FMDs), demonstrated additive or synergistic antitumour effects when combined with chemotherapy, targeted therapies, or immunotherapy in several preclinical in vivo models, including murine models of breast cancer, lung cancer, and colorectal cancer. However, no data on the antitumour efficacy of cyclic FMD in patients with cancer have been published so far.
