A natural, well-preserved mummy belonging to a 45-55 year old female was found in the Church of Santa Maria della Consolazione in Scicli, south-eastern Sicily. The body was submitted to external examination, digital radiology, and computed tomography scanning. Paleopathological investigation allowed us to detect pulmonary pathology related to tuberculosis, atherosclerosis, and phleboliths.
