A Core Outcome Set for Trials in CKD: Report of the Standardized Outcomes in Nephrology-Chronic Kidney Disease (SONG-CKD) Stakeholder Workshops.

Omitting outcomes of importance to patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and their caregivers from trials can impede decision-making based on patient-centered outcomes. As part of the global Standardized Outcomes in Nephrology - Chronic Kidney Disease (SONG-CKD) initiative, we aimed to establish a consensus-based set of core outcomes for trials in CKD (prior to the need for kidney replacement therapy). To finalize the proposed set of core outcomes that were identified through focus groups and an international Delphi survey, we convened two international stakeholder workshops in English and Spanish languages that involved 61 patients/caregivers and 75 health professionals from 18 countries.

We evaluated the eating pattern, physical activity, and daytime sleepiness level in Chilean shift workers. Fifty, middle-aged adult health workers from a public hospital in Santiago, Chile, were included: a group undergoing shift work (shift workers, including at least one "night shift" and one "long day", n = 33), and day workers under traditional schedule (from 8:00 to 17:00h, n = 17). Immune checkpoint therapy (ICT) has transformed cancer treatment in recent years; however, treatment response is not uniform across tumor types. The tumor immune microenvironment plays a critical role in determining response to ICT; therefore, understanding the differential immune infiltration between ICT-sensitive and ICT-resistant tumor types will help to develop effective treatment strategies. We performed a comprehensive analysis of the immune tumor microenvironment of an ICT-sensitive tumor (melanoma, = 44) and an ICT-resistant tumor (pancreatic cancer, = 67).
