Article Synopsis
  • The study investigates pain management techniques for distal radius fractures, comparing hematoma block (HB) and hematoma with median nerve block (MHB) methods.
  • Pain was measured using the Visual Analogical Scale (VAS) at three different times: before, during, and after the injection.
  • Results showed MHB significantly reduced pain during the procedure compared to HB alone, particularly noting that finger traction was the main source of pain in the HB group.
