Article Synopsis
  • The study examines the impact of different uncemented femoral stem designs (straight vs. anatomical) on clinical outcomes in total hip arthroplasty (THA) for osteoarthritis patients.
  • A total of 84 patients were divided into two groups based on stem design, with clinical assessments taken at multiple follow-up points using various standardized scoring tools.
  • Results indicated no significant differences in overall clinical outcomes between the two designs; however, the anatomical stem group had lower complication rates and is suggested as a preferable option in THA.
