[Clinical and histopathological patterns of dermatosis in COVID-19 positive patients treated in the Unidad Médica de Alta Especialidad del Bajío, IMSS-T1, de León, Guanajuato].

Background: COVID-19 disease, besides presenting respiratory manifestations, can affect other organs such as kidneys, gastrointestinal system, heart, and skin. So far, five clinical variants of dermatoses have been described. Few reports discuss the severity associated with the cutaneous manifestations of COVID-19 and the prognosis.

Case Report: Uterine Adenosarcoma With Sarcomatous Overgrowth and Malignant Heterologous Elements.

A 46- year-old woman presented a uterine adenosarcoma originating in the lower uterine segment. The diagnosis was made in an endometrial biopsy and confirmed in the pathological examination of the complete surgical specimen, both identifying heterologous malignant elements. In addition, complementary immunohistochemical studies were performed.

Primary monophasic synovial sarcoma of the tonsil: immunohistochemical and molecular study of a case and review of the literature.

Synovial sarcoma (SS) arises primarily in the lower extremities with a predilection for sites in proximity to large joints, such as the knee. It rarely occurs in the head and neck region, and the tonsil is an unusual site for the tumor, with only eight previously published cases in this anatomical site. We present a case of a primary monophasic SS arising in the right tonsil in a 63-year-old male.
