Psoriasis is a devastating autoimmune illness resulting from excessive keratinocyte growth and leukocyte infiltration into the dermis/epidermis. In the pathogenesis of psoriasis, different immune cells such as myeloid cells and CD4 + T cells play a key role. Th17/Th1 immune responses and oxidant-antioxidant responses are critical in regulation of psoriatic inflammation.

Therefore, febuxostat-loaded chitosan nanoparticles (FLC NPs) were prepared using a modified ionic gelation method and optimized the reaction conditions through the design of experiments. Design expert software was used to check the desirability of the central composite design and the interactive effects of the independent variables (chitosan concentration, ratio of chitosan to linker, and pH of the medium) on the response variables (size distribution, zeta potential, polydispersity index (PDI), and entrapment efficiency (EE)) of FLC NPs.

Methods: This was a retrospective (case series) study that took place at King Abdulaziz Medical City, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to determine the outcomes of and appropriate margin excision for DFSP. All patients who were diagnosed with DFSP from 2016 to 2021 were included.
In this era, renewable energy technologies are suitable to meet the challenges of fossil fuel depletion and global warming. Thus, hydrogen is gaining attention as an alternative clean energy carrier that can be produced from various methods, one of them is the iodine-sulfur (I-S) cycle which is a thermochemical process. The I-S cycle requires a material that can withstand an extremely corrosive environment at high temperatures.

This study examined whether cultural and social events like Ramadan, Eids, and birthdays, motivate Saudi adults to quit smoking.
Methods: Convenience sampling of 742 Saudi tobacco users was conducted between July 2021 and May 2022.
Background: Nowadays, interest in the use of nanotechnology for medical purposes is increasing. The current experimental investigation is planned for the green synthesis, characterization, and efficacy of copper nanoparticles (CLN) against chronic infection.
Methods: Green synthesis of CNP was performed using the extract via the precipitation method.
Acute liver failure (ALF) is a disease accompanied by severe liver inflammation. No effective therapy is available yet apart from liver transplantation; therefore, developing novel treatments for ALF is urgently required. Inflammatory mediators released by NF-кB activation play an essential role in ALF.

This substitution has potential benefits for producing monophasic and biphasic CaAgHPO·nHO compounds. To prepare the starting solutions, (NH)HPO, Ca(NO)·4HO, and AgNO at different concentrations were used.

The aim of this study was to compare the diagnostic accuracy of brain CT angiography (CTA) with and without CT perfusion (CTP) between neurology senior residents and stroke fellows.
Methods: In this neuroimaging study, nine practitioners (four senior neurology residents (SNRs) and five stroke fellows (SFs)) clinically assessed and interpreted the imaging data of 50 cases (15 normal images, 21 large vessel occlusions (LVOs) and 14 medium vessel occlusions (MeVOs) in two sessions, 1 week apart in comparison to final diagnosis of experienced neuroradiologist and experienced stroke neurologist consensus.
Objective: To examine the impact of telerehabilitation training on exercise capacity, lung function, and health-related quality of life (HRQOL) in comparison to no rehabilitation for post-COVID-19 symptoms in adult females.
Methods: A randomized controlled trial of 48 females after mild to moderate COVID-19 survival were equally and randomly assigned to one of two groups: intervention group or control group. Three sessions per week for 6 weeks of a telerehabilitation program provided via a smartphone to the intervention group.
This study developed a new dual delivery system of naringenin (NRG), a polyphenol, and doxofylline (DOX), a xanthine derivative, as an inhaled microsphere system. In this system, NRG has been first loaded into glyceryl tristearate-based solid lipid nanoparticles (NRG SLN), which were further loaded with DOX into swellable chitosan-tripolyphosphate-based microspheres (NRG SLN DOX sMS). The system was characterized based on particle size, PDI, zeta potential, surface morphology (SEM, AFM, and TEM), solid-state and chemical properties (XRD, IR, and NMR), aerodynamic parameters, drug loading, entrapment efficiency and in vitro drug release study.

Hydrothermal method was employed to fabricate nitrogen-doped carbon dots using Annona squamosa seeds (AS-CDs) as a starting material, and their characteristics were confirmed using transmission electron microscopy (TEM), UV-Vis spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, X-ray diffractometry (XRD), and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). The ratiometric fluorometric assay, which is based on measuring the ratio of emissions (F/F), has a wide detection range of 5-2000 ng /mL and a limit of detection (LOD, S/N = 3) of 1.

Understanding rapid speech, following complex instructions, and listening in the existence of background noise are some of the difficulties in APD. APD has been observed in diverse clinical populations with suspected or diagnosed disorders, such as attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder, dyslexia, aphasia, and Alzheimer's disease; however, it should be differentiated from these disorders.
