Background: The time we live in has provoked some digital diseases along with many developments that have made our lives easier. Nomophobia, netlessphobia and fear of missing out, which develop due to excessive or inappropriate use of smartphones, the Internet and social media, are among those digital diseases.

Investigation of the effect of oral and internal bisphosphonate use on bone density in the jaws in patients with osteoporosis in panoramic radiography.

Objectives: This study aims to quantitatively evaluate the effects of bisphosphonate use duration and route of administration on mandibular cortical and trabecular bone in postmenopausal women.

Study Design: Ninety postmenopausal women over the age of 50 were included in this study. Trabecular bone density was specified numerically by fractal dimension (FD) in the region of interest selected on the panoramic radiograph.

Cervical Dysplasia Distress Questionnaire: Turkish validity and reliability study.

The aim of this study was to determine the validity and reliability of the Turkish adaptation of the Cervical Dysplasia Distress Questionnaire (CDDQ) in women with abnormal Pap smear results. This validation study was conducted using a cross-sectional research design. A total of 115 patients who were being followed up in the obstetrics and gynecology outpatient clinic of a university hospital due to an abnormal Pap smear test were included.

An Evaluation of a Web-Based Crisis Management Training Program for Nurse Managers: The Case of the COVID-19 Crisis.

Objective: The effective management of nursing services, the main power in patients' care and treatment in the front line of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, and nurse managers' effective leadership behaviors in the fight against the pandemic have been important key factors. It is thus critical to support nurse managers, strengthen them through training, and increase their competency so that they can successfully manage crises, disasters, or pandemics. This study aims to assess the effect of a web-based training program on the knowledge levels of nurse managers who worked during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Background: In the pandemic, along with distance education, nursing students' smartphone and internet usage habits have changed and their duration has been extended. However, the effect of this situation on problems that may develop due to excessive/inappropriate use of smartphones and the internet such as nomophobia, netlessphobia, fear of missing out is unknown. This study was conducted to measure nursing students' nomophobia, netlessphobia, and fear of missing out levels and identify the correlations between them.

The role of psychological capital in the relationship between nurses' job satisfaction and turnover intention.

Purpose: To find out whether psychological capital has a mediating role in the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention on nurses.

Design And Methods: This study is a cross-sectional descriptive study. 466 nurses participated in this study.

Methods: The study sample consisted of NM and nurses from a university hospital and a state hospital. The data were collected in September-October 2015.

Methods: This study is descriptive and cross-sectional. A total of 1523 healthcare professionals from 13 cities across Turkey participated in the research.

Long-Term Experience of Subcutaneous Immunoglobulin Therapy in Pediatric Primary Immunodeficient Patients with Low and Normal Body Weight.

Purpose: The aim was to review the compliance, side effects and effectiveness of subcutaneous immunoglobulin (SCIG) supplementation in patients with primary immunodeficiencies (PID) who had previously received intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) therapy and subsequently switched to SCIG, as well as to compare these parameters in patients while considering body weight.

Methods: Demographic data, clinical and laboratory findings, SCIG dose, and side effects of 87 patients were retrospectively obtained from patient files. In patients who first received IVIG and then SCIG, the monthly SCIG dose was calculated by multiplying the IVIG dose by 1.

Zygomaticocoronoid ankylosis with possible myositis ossificans: a very rare case.

Ankylosis forming between the zygomatic arch and the coronoid process is a rarely encountered pathological extracapsular ankylosis. Its treatment protocol consists of surgical removal of the coronoid process with the ankylotic mass and jaw opening-closing exercises after surgery. Myositis ossificans (MO) is a self-limiting, benign ossifying lesion.

COSMIC RADIATION EXPOSURE CALCULATIONS FOR INTERNATIONAL AND DOMESTIC FLIGHTS DEPARTS FROM ISTANBUL AND ANKARA.

In this study, cosmic radiation doses were calculated for domestic and international flights departing from Istanbul and furthermore for domestic flights departing from Ankara using a software program called CARI-7A and also a mathematical method approach. Main parameters for calculating cosmic radiation are vertical cut-off rigidity, flight duration, latitude-longitude and altitude of the flight. Our calculation results agree with the measurements for domestic and international flights departing from Istanbul and Ankara.

Aim: The aim was to determine the effects of compassion fatigue, emotional intelligence levels, and communication skills of organ transplant coordinators on burnout.

Methods: This descriptive correlational study included 104 organ transplant coordinators. Data were collected via a survey that consisted of demographic information, the Copenhagen Burnout Inventory, the Emotional Intelligence Scale, and the Compassion Fatigue Scale.

Antipsychotics and Lorazepam During Delirium: Are We Harming Older Patients? A Real-Life Data Study.

Background: Delirium affects approximately one out of three older hospitalized patients and is associated with poor clinical outcomes. Approaches used to manage delirium consist of non-pharmacological and pharmacological interventions. Antipsychotics and lorazepam are commonly used to treat symptoms of delirium, but conflicting data exist on the effect of these drugs on the outcomes of delirium.

Aim: To determine the homophobic and discriminatory attitudes of health care professionals and associated factors in the private sector.

Background: Examining possible homophobic and discriminatory attitudes of health care professionals is very important to eliminate barriers such as access to and use of health services.

Method: This descriptive and cross-sectional study included 626 health professionals in 20 private hospitals throughout Turkey.

Background: In this study, we used the maxillary central incisors (n=80) of the 40 adult male Wistar albino rats.

Methods: Rats were randomly divided into four groups according to power densities of diode laser (n=10).
