Objective: To determine the prevalence of risky sexual behavior and its association with overweight and obesity among adolescent students.
Methods: This is a cross-sectional study, conducted in public schools with adolescents aged 12 to 17 years. We used the questionnaire Youth Risk Behavior Survey.
Objective: To describe the prevalence of headache and its interference in the activities of daily living (ADL) in female adolescent students.
Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study enrolled 228 female adolescents from a public school in the city of Petrolina, Pernambuco, Northeast Brazil, aged ten to 19 years. A self-administered structured questionnaire about socio-demographic characteristics, occurrence of headache and its characteristics was employed.
Study Objective: To determine the prevalence, characteristics and effects on the activities of daily living of menstruation disturbances among adolescent girls.
Design: Descriptive, cross-sectional study.
Setting: A public school in the city of Petrolina, Brazil.
