Introduction: Antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody-associated vasculitis (AAV) with renal involvement primarily affects the renal cortex and presents with key histopathologic findings of a pauci-immune necrotizing and crescentic glomerulonephritis. Infrequently reported and poorly characterized is renal medullary angiitis (RMA), a pathologic variant of AAV primarily involving the renal medulla. This study seeks to describe the presentation and treatment outcomes of RMA.

A Case of Steroid-Responsive Acute Tubular Injury of Unknown Trigger: A Case Report.

Acute tubular necrosis (ATN) is a serious medical condition characterized by the rapid destruction of renal tubular epithelial cells, resulting in acute kidney injury, given its multifactorial etiologies, which can include nephrotoxic agents, ischemic insults, hypovolemia, and sepsis. We report the case of a young male patient who presented with recurrent worsening kidney function with bland sediment that was confirmed with multiple kidney biopsies as recurrent attacks of ATN of unclear etiology, which did not respond to supportive measures but did respond to steroids.

A rare case of Ewing's sarcoma of the kidney.

We report the case of a 15-year-old girl presenting with distended abdomen, left flank pain, and a history of weight loss. Computed tomography showed a large tumor involving the left kidney that was initially diagnosed as renal cell carcinoma. She underwent exploratory open laparotomy and left radical nephrectomy followed by chemotherapy and showed good response.

Primary burkitt lymphoma of the fourth ventricle in an immunocompetent young patient.

Primary Burkitt lymphoma of the central nervous system (CNS) is rare, with only few cases reported in the literature. An 18 year-old immunocompetent male presented with multiple cranial nerves palsies and was found to have a mass predominantly in the 4th ventricle of the brain. Tumor was surgically removed and showed morphological and immunohistochemical features consistent with Burkitt lymphoma.
