Background: The management of early breast cancer (BC) has witnessed an uprise in the use of neoadjuvant therapy and a remarkable reshaping of the systemic therapy postneoadjuvant treatment in the last few years, with the evolution of many controversial clinical situations that require consensus.
Methods: During the 14th Breast-Gynecological and Immuno-Oncology International Cancer Conference held in Egypt in 2022, a panel of 44 BC experts from 13 countries voted on statements concerning debatable challenges in the neo/adjuvant treatment setting. The recommendations were subsequently updated based on the most recent data emerging.
Purpose: To guide clinicians and policymakers in three global resource-constrained settings on treating patients with metastatic breast cancer (MBC) when Maximal setting-guideline recommended treatment is unavailable.
Methods: A multidisciplinary, multinational panel reviewed existing ASCO guidelines and conducted modified ADAPTE and formal consensus processes.
Results: Four published resource-agnostic guidelines were adapted for resource-constrained settings; informing two rounds of formal consensus; recommendations received ≥75% agreement.
Colorectal cancer (CRC) represents around 10% of all cancers, with an increasing incidence in the younger age group. The gut is considered a unique organ with its distinctive neuronal supply. The neuropeptide, human galanin, is widely distributed in the colon and expressed in many cancers, including the CRC.

Neoadjuvant strategies of operable breast cancer are mostly based on chemotherapy, whereas it is not completely understood which patients might benefit from neoadjuvant hormone therapy (NAHT).
Materials And Methods: The SAFIA trial is a prospective multicenter, international, double-blind, neoadjuvant phase III trial, using upfront 21-gene Oncotype DX Breast Recurrence Score assay (recurrence score [RS] < 31) to select operable luminal human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative patients, for induction hormonal therapy HT (fulvestrant 500 mg with or without goserelin) before randomly assigning responding patients to fulvestrant 500 mg (with or without goserelin) plus either palbociclib (cyclin-dependent kinase 4/6 inhibitor) or placebo.
: The management of patients with triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is challenging with several controversies and unmet needs. During the 12th Breast-Gynaecological & Immuno-oncology International Cancer Conference (BGICC) Egypt, 2020, a panel of 35 breast cancer experts from 13 countries voted on consensus guidelines for the clinical management of TNBC. The consensus was subsequently updated based on the most recent data evolved lately.

Therefore, the aim of the current study was to evaluate the importance of conventional abdominal ultrasound and color Doppler in diagnosing IBD and assessing disease activity.
Methods: The study was conducted at the National Hepatology and Tropical Medicine Research Institute (NHTMRI) between July 2018 and January 2019, in which 150 patients were suffering from diarrhea, dysentery, tenesmus, or rectal bleeding were evaluated by colonoscopy, high-resolution ultrasound, and color Doppler scans.
Background: Ewing's sarcoma (ES) is an aggressive tumor, which is usually associated with micrometastases in the circulation. Thus, systemic chemotherapy in addition to local control modality is essential to improve outcomes. The aim of this study was to evaluate clinicopathological features and treatment outcomes in patients with ES.

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of a health education program on raising the knowledge related to BC, its risk factors, and some related preventive practices among women living in an urban slum area in Alexandria. PATIENTS AND METHODS: A pre-/post-test interventional study was conducted during 2009-2010 on a random sample of women aged 30-65 years (n = 486) living in a slum area in Alexandria, Egypt.

Major advances in breast cancer management mandate the development of guidelines to improve the quality and efficacy of oncology practice in the MENA region. A Breast Cancer Regional Guidelines Committee was organized and activated, comprising experts from various regional cancer institutions.

Incompletely excised and recurrent tumors are frequently treated with fractionated radiation therapy or stereotactic radiosurgery.

Major deficiencies were noted with regard to clinical assessment, surgery, and pathology. Since 1997 we have intensified our personnel contacts with referring surgeons, and we have performed outreach visits.

Methods And Materials: We reviewed 50 patients with the diagnosis of optic pathway low-grade gliomas treated between January 1980 and December 1995 at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, Saudi Arabia.
The purpose of this report is to assess the prognostic factors that could influence management and clinical outcome of malignant fibrous histiocytoma (MFH) of soft tissues. Between 1975 and 1998, 109 patients diagnosed with MFH of the soft tissues, seen at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, have been reviewed. Of the 109 patients, 75 were men and 34 were women.
