Polycystic ovarian syndrome - association and risk factors between endometrial polyp and infertility. A retrospective study.

Introduction: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is the most common endocrine disorder and is one of the most common causes of infertility. The study aimed to investigate the association between endometrial polyp and infertility in PCOS in a high-incidence region such as the Middle East. Also, to identify the most common risk factors for endometrial polyp(s) in PCOS patients with infertility.

Radiology During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Mapping Radiology Literature in 2020.

Objectives: Our aim was to assess articles published in the field of radiology, nuclear medicine, and medical imaging in 2020 and analyze the linkage of radiology-related topics with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) through literature mapping along with a bibliometric analysis for publications.

Methods: We performed a search on the Web of Science Core Collection database for articles in the field of radiology, nuclear medicine, and medical imaging published in 2020. We analyzed the included articles using VOS viewer software, where we analyzed the co-occurrence of keywords, representing major topics discussed.

Unusual histopathological findings in appendectomy specimens with clinical diagnosis of acute appendicitis: A retrospective cohort analysis.

Introduction: While appendicitis is considered one of most common acute surgical conditions, several studies have reported abnormal histopathological findings in appendectomy specimens; however, sending all appendices to histopathology is not yet routinely done.Here we report many unusual findings. Those unusual findings played a role not only in confirming acute appendicitis as a cause of the presentation in some cases but also discovering etiologies that mimic it with great impact on its management.
