Spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) is an uncommon non-atherosclerotic etiology of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) characterized by the formation of a false lumen inside the arterial wall, resulting in sudden occlusion of blood flow without any trauma or intervention.
