Background: Abdominoplasty, an emerging surgical procedure worldwide, associated with complications, as seroma, infection, and hematoma. This systematic review and meta-analysis compare the outcomes of abdominoplasty procedures performed using a scalpel versus a diathermocoagulation device (diathermy monopolar electrocautery), aiming to find a safer approach with fewer complications.
Methods: We conducted a systematic search in November 2023 using PubMed, Ovid Medline, and Ovid Chocrane databases.
The aim of the present study was to determine the molecular characteristics of sensu lato from faecal samples of dogs and the hydatid cyst from liver of bovine, camel, cattle, and sheep and the immunodiagnosis of Hydatid cyst in human sera samples from the Gaza Strip, in Palestine. A total of 38 faecal samples were collected near farms and local markets where stray dogs were grouping there. Post-slaughtering, the livers of the bovine, camel, cattle, and sheep were examined for cysts.

It is considered the most severe osseous complication of renal dystrophy. Although rare, ULO can occur even in young patients, which can be catastrophic, as it can not only lead to life-threatening conditions but also multiple complications that cause severe determent to the quality of life.

We aimed to describe the clinical, epidemiological, and laboratory findings of patients in Saudi Arabia infected with SARS-CoV-2 to direct us in helping prevent and treat coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) across Saudi Arabia and around the world.
Materials And Methods: Clinical, epidemiological, laboratory, and radiological characteristics, treatment, and outcomes of pediatric and adult patients in five hospitals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, were surveyed in this study.
Introduction: The ongoing pandemic of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a global health concern. It has affected more than 5 million patients worldwide and resulted in an alarming number of deaths globally. While clinical characteristics have been reported elsewhere, data from our region is scarce.

Objectives: To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study of intestinal parasites among young female students of Islamic University of Gaza to report the existence and prevalence of intestinal parasites.
Methods: A total of 305 stool samples were collected from female students in all faculties and were examined by wet mount and formal ether sedimentation technique.
Background: In Saudi Arabia, cultural and language differences between expatriate nurses and patients affect the quality of nursing care. Hence, the Kingdom is eying Saudization in this field. The productivity of nurses can affect the productivity of the whole health system.

Materials And Methods: This retrospective study involves 198 breast reconstructions by DIEP flap performed between January 2010 and September 2017. Our surgical technique is related in detail, with a focus on venous compromise management.
Introduction: Blood donation is important for saving human life as blood is used in surgeries, blood transfusion and for clinical use. The mission of blood banks can be extended to include medical research. The objective of the study was to determine and assess the attitude of blood donors in Gaza towards the use of their blood samples and medical data for biomedical research and the associated ethical issues.

Methods: A multicenter, prospective, before-after surveillance study on 14,961 patients in 37 intensive care units (ICUs) of 22 hospitals. During baseline, we performed outcome surveillance of VAP applying the definitions of the CDC/NHSN.
Introduction: Soft tissue and bone radionecrosis are rare but serious complications may occur late after radiotherapy.
Case Report: We report the case of an 86-year-old woman with a history an infiltrating ductal carcinoma of the left breast, treated by total mastectomy, left axillary dissection and adjuvant radiotherapy. Eighteen years later, the first radionecrosis lesions appeared and grew progressively in a 6-month period.
Background: Surgical approaches in neck dissection: comparing functional, oncologic and aesthetic aspects of transverse cervicotomy to Paul André's approach.
Methods: This single-center retrospective study compares a new transverse incision for cervicotomy to the classical approach described by Paul André in neck dissections. The evaluation criteria were: number of lymph nodes analyzed, operative time, complications, patient satisfaction and aesthetic aspects of the scar.
Objective: Determine the incidence of major bleeding events, their risk factors, and their impact on prognosis in Jordanian patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Evaluate the ability of the CRUSADE bleeding risk score (BRS) to predict major bleeding.
Methods: Major bleeding events were defined according to the CRUSADE classification and their incidence was evaluated from hospital admission to one year of follow up.

Introduction: After implant-based breast reconstruction, the nipple reconstruction technique must be carefully chosen, especially in patients with a history of radiotherapy. When the contralateral nipple is not available, using a classical dermal-fat local flap may lead to the implant exposure, and consequently, removal. We describe here a simple nipple reconstruction technique, using a strictly dermal local flap and evaluate its complication rate.
