Importance: Retrieval strategies for children, adolescents, and young adults with relapsed classic Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL) aim to maintain efficacy while minimizing long-term toxic effects. Children, adolescents, and young adults with low-risk, relapsed cHL may benefit from replacing high-dose chemotherapy and autologous stem cell transplant with less intensive involved-site radiotherapy (ISRT).
Objective: To evaluate a risk-stratified, response-adapted, transplant-free approach for treatment of children, adolescents, and young adults with low-risk relapsed cHL with nivolumab plus brentuximab vedotin (BV) followed by BV plus bendamustine for patients with suboptimal response and ISRT (30.
G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) signaling is terminated by arrestin binding to a phosphorylated receptor. Binding propensity has been shown to be modulated by stabilizing the pre-activated state of arrestin through point mutations or C-tail truncation. Here, we hypothesize that pre-activated rotated states can be stabilized by small molecules, and this can promote binding to phosphorylation-deficient receptors, which underly a variety of human disorders.

Background: Some studies conducted within the scope of the DOHaD hypothesis show associations between early-life environmental factors, especially maternal health and nutritional status, with the next generation's health and disease status. Despite the increase in elucidating of the underpinning mechanisms of early life determinants and chronic disease risk, there is limited knowledge on how public perceive and understand DOHaD concepts.
The ketogenic diet (KD) originated in the 1920s. It is a dietary model that is low in carbohydrates, adequate in protein, and high in fat content. The diet mimics starvation and increases the production of ketone bodies, leading to ketosis in metabolism.

Lauric acid (LA), the major fatty acid in coconut oil, and resveratrol, the plant-based polyphenolic compound, may exert anti-inflammatory effects. Therefore, this study investigated the possible effects of LA and resveratrol on diet-induced neuroinflammation and CD36.

Methods: This cross-sectional, observational, and prospective study was completed with 64 patients. Before SA, PVI IVC-D, and IVC-A were measured.
Background/aim: Inflammatory bowel diseases and colorectal cancer are a major cause of morbidity and mortality. Amine oxidase, copper-containing 3 (AOC3) is a critical enzyme in the physiological trafficking of leukocytes and the regulation of inflammation. This study aimed to examine the effects of Aoc3 deficiency in mice models of colitis and colorectal tumorigenesis.

This study aims to establish the final definite etiology among patients with long-term follow-up for painful ophthalmoplegia. The data of 44 cases (16 females, 28 females) were examined. In the first diagnosis, subjects were scanned in terms of benign and secondary etiologies.

The CAM develops rapidly over the next several days and gets heavily vascularized and therefore has been explored widely as a tool for the study of angiogenesis. Additionally, being immunodeficient, the CAM can be used for tumor growth of human origin and its metastasis.

Critical illness can disrupt the circadian rhythm, as can environmental and clinical factors, including altered light exposure, organ replacement therapies, disrupted sleep-wake cycles, noise, continuous enteral feeding, immobility, and therapeutic interventions. Nonpharmacological interventions, controlling the ICU environment, and pharmacological treatments are among the treatment strategies for circadian disruption.

Purpose: To examine the effects of diabetic foot care training on self-efficacy and adaptation based on Social Cognitive Theory and the Roy Adaptation Model.
Methods: In this randomized controlled study, 80 patients treated in the endocrine polyclinic of an education and research hospital in İzmir, Turkey, were randomized to intervention (n = 40) or control (n = 40).

Aims: Recently, dose delivery technology has rapidly evolved with flattening filter-free beams (FFF), and the biological effects of high dose rates are a matter of interest. We hypothesized that FFF beams at different dose rates obtained with modern linear accelerators have different effects on the TME.
Materials And Methods: The B16-F10 melanoma syngeneic tumor model was established, and mice were randomized to 2 different doses (2 Gy and 10 Gy) and 3 different dose rates (1 Gy/min, 6 Gy/min, and 14 Gy/min) along with the control group.
Tamoxifen has been the mainstay therapy to treat early, locally advanced, and metastatic estrogen receptor-positive (ER+) breast cancer, constituting around 75% of all cases. However, emergence of resistance is common, necessitating the identification of novel therapeutic targets. Here, we demonstrated that long-noncoding RNA LINC00152 confers tamoxifen resistance via blocking tamoxifen-induced ferroptosis, an iron-mediated cell death.

Methods: Patients who underwent robotic mitral surgery between March 2010 and September 2022 were included. Patients were grouped according to the presence of concomitant tricuspid interventions.
Background: FOLFIRINOX and gemcitabine-nabpaclitaxel (GnP) are standard first-line treatment regimens for advanced pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). However, currently, there is a lack of predictive biomarkers to aid in the treatment selection. We aimed to explore the prognostic and predictive value of class III β-Tubulin (TUBB3) and human equilibrative nucleoside transporter 1 (hENT1) expression, which have previously been shown to be associated with taxane and gemcitabine resistance in advanced PDAC.

Materials And Methods: Cell survival under nutrient depletion (ND) was evaluated by colony formation and in vivo tumor formation assays.
Cluster headache is a rare, severe headache associated with hypothalamic dysfunction or sleep cycles. It is classified in the primary headache group in The International Classification of Headache Disorders-3-2018 (ICHD-3-2018). In this case report, we present a 62-year-old male patient whose cluster headache showed a five times longer remission interval after dental implant treatment and ceased for more than two years following cardiac stent therapy.

Methods: Utilizing data from Retraction Watch, this cross-sectional descriptive analysis documented all retracted papers from Kazakhstan without regard to publication dates.
Older patients with advanced-stage classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL) have inferior outcomes compared with younger patients, potentially due to comorbidities and frailty. This noncomparative phase 2 study enrolled patients aged ≥60 years with cHL unfit for conventional chemotherapy to receive frontline brentuximab vedotin (BV; 1.8 mg/kg) with dacarbazine (DTIC; 375 mg/m2) (part B) or nivolumab (part D; 3 mg/kg).
