In this paper, we validate PREDIS, a decision support system for disaster management using serious games to collect experts' judgments on its performance. PREDIS is a model for DISaster response supplier selection (PREDIS). It has a PREDictive component (PRED) for predicting the disaster human impact and an estimation component to Estimate the DISaster (EDIS) needs to optimise supplier-based resource allocation.

Objective: To detect antioxidant and antiinflammatory efficacy of Curcumin (Cur) on lung tissue in rats with sepsis.
Methods: Totally 32 rats were divided into 4 groups; the rats in Group 1 (control group) had abdominal incision under sterile conditions following anesthesia and the abdomen was sutured. Abdominal incision was performed in the rats in Group 2 (Cur group) under sterile conditions following anesthesia and the abdomen was closed.
Food losses and waste have always been a significant global problem for mankind, and one which has become increasingly recognised as such by policy makers, food producers, processors, retailers, and consumers. It is, however, an emotive subject whereby the extent, accuracy and resolution of available data on postharvest loss and waste are questionable, such that key performance indicators on waste can be misinformed. The nature and extent of food waste differ among developed economies, economies in transition and developing countries.

Cd is reported to induce the generation of reactive oxygen species, and induces testicular damage in many species of animals. The goal of our study was to examine the anti-apoptotic and anti-oxidant effects of caffeic acid phenethyl ester (CAPE) on Cd-induced oxidative stress, apoptosis, and testicular injury in rats.
