The Use of Pneumocystography for Navigation of Stereotaxic Core-needle Biopsy in Complex Breast Cysts: Case Report.

Complex breast cysts (CBC) are characterized by a high (up to 31.0%) oncological potential and the need for a biopsy. In some clinical situations, navigating a biopsy using mammography (MG), ultrasound (US), endoscopy, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) may be difficult.

Computer-aided Evaluation of Polyvalent Medications' Pharmacological Potential. Multiphytoadaptogen as a Case Study.

Many human diseases including cancer, degenerative and autoimmune disorders, diabetes and others are multifactorial. Pharmaceutical agents acting on a single target do not provide their efficient curation. Multitargeted drugs exhibiting pleiotropic pharmacological effects have certain advantages due to the normalization of the complex pathological processes of different etiology.

Stereotaxic Core-Needle Biopsy in Assessing Intraductal Pathologic Findings at Ductography.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyze the capabilities of ductography (DG) to navigate stereotactic core-needle biopsy (sCNB) for localizing and differentiating intraductal benign and malignant proliferations of the breast in patients with pathological nipple discharge (PND).

Materials And Methods: Patients underwent physical, radiological, ultrasound, endoscopic and histopathological examinations.

Results: The study included 183 patients.

Serum interleukin-6: Association with circulating cytokine serum levels in patients with sinus arrhythmia and patients with coronary artery disease.

In this study, we were focused on the differences between certain circulating cytokine levels in patients with or without sinus arrhythmia, according to the median IL-6 level. All patients were stable with regards to symptoms and therapy for at least one month prior to the measurements conducted within this study.Exclusion criteria were: patients with sleep apnea, asthma, respiratory insufficiency of any genesis, active infection, allergy, inflammatory diseases, cancer, diabetes of any type and treatment with anti-inflammatory drugs.

Effects of interleukin-2 on bioelectric activity of rat atrial myocardium under normal conditions and during gradual stretching.

Using micro-electrode technique we studied the effects of interleukin-2 (50 ng/ml) on bio-electric activity of rat atrial myocardium under normal conditions and after gradual stretching of the tissue. It was shown that interleukin-2 caused increasing in the duration of action potential at the levels of 25, 50, and 90% re-polarization. Perfusion with interleukin-2 resulted in appearance of frequent rhythm patterns followed by smooth transient fragments of paroxysmal tachyarrhythmia pacing into normal rhythms.

Epidermal growth factor (EGF) receptor endocytosis is accompanied by reorganization of microtubule system in HeLa cells.

Translocation of endosomes along microtubules (MTs) from the cell periphery toward the juxtranuclear region proximal to MTOC is well established. During this translocation the radial MT system is believed to retain its organization. Here we demonstrate that epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) endocytosis in HeLa cells is accompanied by dramatic remodeling of the MT system.
